Culture

Human culture among the hundreds of thousands of worlds and uncountable number of orbitals is extremely diverse but can all draw their lineage from several main threads.

Coreworlders make up approximately 30% of the total Order population and consist of every world within one light hour away from CYNTHIA's core in Sol (accounting for Gate FTL communication). Coreworlders are known for pursuing innovation and optimization while also indulging in decadence.

Lunarians are typically eccentric and wealthy individuals. Most Lunarians never leave Luna, preferring to stay close to home. The rare few that are out and about in the galaxy are usually covered head to toe in experimental technologies and modifications. Many humans report feeling uneasy when around Lunarians.

Luna is a nexus of technology, hosting the Lunarian Supercomputing Lab as well as converting a significant portion of the mantle into a planetary scale computer. Due to this, Lunarians typically pursue careers in research, education, and engineering. Lunarians see OI as their equals.

The most notable cultural impact they have had is the Moon Festival, an annual event celebrating CYNTHIA's ascension. The festival is celebrated on every Order world.

Colonials account for the remaining Order population not in the core worlds. Colonials are known for self sufficiency and industriousness but are typically quite stubborn.

(Agrihabbers, Forgehabbers, etc)

Frontiersmen are a subset of Colonials who drive deep into unknown territory to claim and colonize new worlds for the Order. They are typically seen as rugged and crude individuals.

Many frontiersmen are veterans and often times settle down on a world they've colonized. These veterans make up the elite arm and officer corps of the Imperial Colonization Authority Army's Planetary Defense Forces.

Nodians or Netizens are humans or OI who spend a majority of their lives in the Nodework. They are typically carefree and decadent, pursuing creative arts and other various forms of entertainment. They have a skewed view on life and death.
