+Second Generation Virtualization is often used as a last ditch effort to preserve an individual who is dying. Culturally, SGV is perceived as a path to immortality and the next logical evolution of humanity by a growing minority inside the Order. The process is not officially outlawed under the Virtual Integration Act, but with the Second Virtual War fresh on their minds, many are wary of their new Virtual neighbors and refuse to undergo the process even if it means death.
