The Director of Emi Security & Logistics. She has both a deadpan voice and emotionless expression but is actually quite easygoing and likes to make jokes, even if most people don't get them. When it comes to work, she becomes deadly serious and will guarantee that the task is finished. She is a near-baseline human with several genetic and biomechanical enhancements improving her strength, stamina, reaction time, and healing rate. She is 57 years old, which is considered young for near-baseliners, and has been in this line of work for almost 30 years.

Her home is in a small unnamed nightlander village. Most of the inhabitants are senior citizens whom she supports with her income.

A mysterious masked man, Boss is the main benefactor of Emi Security & Logistics. He usually leaves Emi to her own devices but will occasionally assign high priority contracts to her. When the mission calls for it, Boss will personally show up to negotiations and trades. While it seems like profit is his main motivator, his actions say otherwise, and he seems to be looking for something or someone. No one knows who he is or where he is from.

Alice A recently born Order Three intellect, Alice is a naive and inquisitive AI. She is wanted by just about every faction on Erdiana. The ICA want to plug her into the supercomputing network and make her the new administrator in order to fix the planet. Vector want to coalesce with her and ascend her to an O4 intellect to rival Cynthia and create a new society lead by digital beings. DECA want to use her as a navigation computer for a captured ICA cruiser to jump out of the system and find a way back to civilization. Alice projects herself as a small girl with a blue dress.

An associate of Boss, Arlette is a skilled near*baseline human engineer who finds work designing and building custom made equipment. She specializes in weapon modificiations, custom synth parts, and handloaded custom ammunition. She treats Emi like her little sister and is overly affectionate with her despite Emi's cold reaction every time. She likes to pretend to be stupid despite being very self aware and highly intelligent. Her arms and legs are all synthetic prosthetics. She learned how to maintain and eventually modify and create synth parts after the collapse severely limited the amount of medical resources available.

Emi's co-worker from when she first started working, Era is a combat oriented O2 intellect with a cool and fatherly personality. He went independent over a decade ago to pursue his own career and has had success as an independent contractor. He still wears Emi's right pauldron on his synthetic body as a memoir. Era projects himself as a tall, suited gentleman.

A Vector O2 intellect stuck in her own synth body as Era has hijacked it during a battle to hide. Silph is unremarkable, serving as a common soldier for Vector. She has an unhealthy obsession with Alice, refering to her as 'My Lady' or 'High Priestess'. Silph projects herself as an average woman shrouded with a large cape.
